What is Touchablevideo?
Touchable Video is a unique way of capturing (life) lessons that stay with you. By combining experience in courses such as Somatic Experiencing and my passion for film, I offer images of lessons that students/course participants can watch in peace afterwards. With my many years of experience, I know how to record lessons exactly in such a way that they still bring the feeling and experience that the participants experienced during the moment themselves. This way you not only have a video as a reminder, but also to dive back into the moment. Exactly what you sometimes need after an intense session!
How does it work?
As a cameraman I am not alone behind my camera, but I am in the entire room. I use my own body in the moment to record what is happening in space. When the focus is on one point, my camera focuses on that. Is the general atmosphere of great importance? Then it will splash off the image.
For example, sometimes I feel my right hand start to tingle during a recording. Out of pure intuition I respond to this by zooming in on the hand of the client, which then starts moving shortly afterwards. The places where the student's head is drawn is almost always captured on film in a natural way. Because I am tuned in to the entire process, teachers and students notice that the feeling of the space flows into the images I create. And exactly that is the goal of Touchable Video!
Why is it necessary?
In the lessons I film, students are often so immersed in the experience that they sometimes 'missed' parts afterwards. Because of the film material they receive from me afterwards on a USB stick, they can still look back at every detail in peace. Certainly when you yourself are touched when it comes to dealing with trauma, for example, it is very valuable to be able to relive the moment from a clear mindset. In addition, by looking back you learn more and more about how the body relaxes.
Touchablevideo therefore offers students (and teachers) the opportunity to increase the impact of the lessons and bring it to an optimal level.

In recent years I have worked a lot for courses such as Somatic Experience. I really enjoy being close to the development of human capacities. Touchable Video is for students and teachers of similar study programs. The following points characterize the clients I work for:
